What is Stock Adjustment in HostBooks?
This is option where user can update the opening and closing stock of the items which were not tracked, to get the fair view of financial statement and profitability.
Opening Balance – This need to update once, for the upcoming period closing stock of the previous period will be the opening stock of the upcoming period. Value entered here become part of the opening balance of Trading Profit & Loss Account.
Closing Balance – This needs to update for every closing period, value entered here will become part of the closing stock of Trading Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
