How to Void Reverse Restore and Delete Manual Journal?
How to Void Manual Journal?
From the Manual Journal listing page, open the Manual Journal which is having status of Posted in View Mode. Click on Journal Options. The following list will appear:
- Reverse
- Void
- Delete
- Copy
- Edit
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to void a Manual Journal, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Manual Journal updated successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to the Manual Journal listing page.
The status of the Manual Journal is showing as Void.
How to Reverse Manual Journal?
From the Manual Journal listing page, open the Manual Journal which is having status of Posted in View Mode. Click on Journal Options. The following list will appear:
- Reverse
- Void
- Delete
- Copy
- Edit
After clicking on Reverse, Manual Journal will be open in Edit Mode and you can update the Manual Journal accordingly i.e. Journal Number, Date, Auto Reversing Date, Description, Account, Debit Amount, Credit Amount etc., after that click on Post button.
A message will appear as "Manual Journal Updated Successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to Manual Journal listing page.
After clicking on "Ok", Manual Journal is showing as Reverse Journal.
How to Delete Manual Journal?
From the Manual Journal listing page, open the Manual Journal which is having status of Posted in View Mode. Click on Journal Options. The following list will appear:
- Reverse
- Void
- Delete
- Copy
- Edit
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to delete a Manual Journal, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Manual Journal updated successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to the Manual Journal listing page.
How to Restore Manual Journal?
From the Manual Journal listing page, open the Manual Journal which is having status of Voided in View Mode. Click on Journal Options. The following list will appear:
- Delete
- Copy
- Restore
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to restore a Manual Journal, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Manual Journal updated successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to the Manual Journal listing page.
The status of the Manual Journal is showing as Post.
