How to void, Mark as decline and Delete Expense
How to Void Expense?
You can void the Expense in two ways as follows:
- First way to void the Expense is:
From the Expense listing page, open the Expense which is having status of Awaiting Authorization or Awaiting Payment in View Mode. Click on Expense Claim Options. The following list will appear:
- Void
- Decline
- Delete
- Edit
- Copy
Click on Void
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to void an Expense, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Expense updated successfully" with OK. Click on “OK” button then it will navigate to the Expense listing page.
The status of the Expense is showing as Void.
- Second way to void the Expense is:
In the Expense listing page you can navigate to the Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Authorization and Awaiting Payment. Select the Expense which you want to be void from the listing page of Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Authorization or Awaiting Payment.
Click on Void.
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to void the selected Expense, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as “Expense updated successfully” with OK. Click on "OK" button. After clicking on "OK", selected Expense will become Void.
In order to see the void Expenses, Click on Void Tab in listing page.
How to Decline Expense?
You can decline the Expense in two ways as follows:
- First way to decline the Expense is:
From the Expense listing page, open the Expense which is having status of Awaiting Authorization or Awaiting Payment in View Mode. Click on Expense Claim Options. The following list will appear:
- Void
- Decline
- Delete
- Edit
- Copy
Click on Decline
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to decline an Expense, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Expense updated successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to the Expense listing page.
The status of the Expense is showing as Decline.
- Second way to decline the Expense is:
In the Expense listing page you can navigate to the Awaiting Authorization. Select the Expense which you want to be decline from the listing page of Awaiting Authorization.
Click on Mark as Decline.
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to decline the selected Expense, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Expense updated successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button. After clicking on "OK", selected Expense will become decline.
In order to see the decline Expenses, Click on declined Tab in listing page.
How to Delete Expense?
You can delete the Expense in two ways as follows:
- First way to delete the Expense is:
From the Expense listing page, open the Expense which is having status of Awaiting Authorization, Awaiting Payment, Decline, and Void in View Mode. Click on Expense Claims Options. The following list will appear:
- Void
- Decline
- Delete
- Edit
- Copy
Click on Delete
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to delete the Expense, click on "Yes" button
A message will appear as "Expense deleted successfully" with OK. Click on "OK" button then it will navigate to the Expense listing page.
- Second way to Delete the Expense is:
From the Expense listing page you can navigate to the Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Authorization, Awaiting Payment, declined, and Void. Select the Expense which you want to delete from the listing page of Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Authorization, Awaiting Payment, declined, and Void.
Click on Delete
A Confirmation message will appear. In order to delete the selected Expense, click on "Yes" button.
A message will appear as "Expense deleted successfully" with OK. After clicking on "OK" button, selected Expense will be deleted.
