How to Void and Delete Credit Note?

There are two ways to void a Credit Note:

1. First way to make Credit Note as Void is:

   Create a Credit Note and click on Approve button then it will navigate to Credit Note Listing Page. From the Credit Note listing page open the Credit Note in view mode which is having status of Awaiting Settlement. Click on Credit Options. The following list will appear:

• Generate IRN
• Void
• Delete
• Copy
• Edit

Click on the Void option from the drop-down list box.

After that, a confirmation message will appear. In order to Void a Credit Note click on the “Yes” button.

After that, a message will appear “Credit Note updated successfully” with OK. Click on the “OK” button then it will navigate to the Credit Note listing page.

The status of such a Credit Note becomes Void in the invoice listing page.

2. The second way to make a Credit Note as Void is:

   From the Credit Note listing page you can navigate to various listing pages such as Draft, Awaiting Approval, and Awaiting Settlement. Select the Credit Notes that you want to make void from the listing page of Draft, Awaiting Approval, or Awaiting Settlement.

Click on Void.

A confirmation message will appear. In order to make selected Credit Notes as Void, click on the “Yes” button.

A message will appear as “Credit Note updated successfully” with OK. After clicking on the “Ok” button such selected Credit Notes will move to the Void listing page.

Click on Void Tab to see such Credit Notes

There are two ways to delete the Credit Note:

1. The first way to Delete the Credit Note is:

   Create a Credit Note and click on Approve button then it will navigate to Credit Note Listing Page. From the Credit Note listing page, open the Credit Note in View Mode which is having the status of Awaiting Settlement. Click on Credit Options. The following list will appear:

• Generate IRN
• Void
• Delete
• Copy
• Edit

Click on the Delete option from the drop-down list box.

After that a confirmation message will appear. In order to delete Credit Note, click on the “Yes” button.

A message will appear as “Credit Note deleted successfully” with OK. Click on “OK” button after that it will navigate to the Credit Note listing page.

2. The second way to delete a Credit Note is:

   From the Credit Note listing page, you can navigate to various listing pages such as Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Settlement, and Void. Select the Credit Notes that you want to delete from the listing page of Draft, Awaiting Approval, Awaiting Settlement, or Void.

Click on the Delete option.

A confirmation message will appear. In order to Delete the selected Credit Notes click on the “Yes” button.

A message will appear as “Credit Note deleted successfully” with OK. After clicking on the “Ok” button such selected Credit Notes will be deleted.
